WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION IN HERZOGWEILER
People with disabilities don't have it easy,
when they travel.
And finding suitable accommodation is often difficult.
This is different at the “Alter Hirsch” in Herzogsweiler!
We know that travel for people with special needs
can be a real challenge.
And we not only understand that, we know it - first hand.
As parents of two children with disabilities, we experience it again and again - the numerous obstacles and barriers that arise often get in the way when it comes to traveling together or finding nice accommodation elsewhere for a few days.
The vision of the “Alter Hirsch” emerged from this personal experience.
We have created a place that meets the needs and well-being of
ALL guests.
Two of our four Holiday Apartments are therefore wheelchair accessible.
They are a temporary home that we have created for people with special needs: from wide entrance doors and hallways that allow wheelchair users to enter and turn around with ease, to specially equipped bathrooms and beds that make everyday life easier.
We know that sometimes it's the little details that make the difference and we've paid a lot of attention to them.
But what makes “Alter Hirsch” special is perhaps our view of things:
We know that a holiday without obstacles is so much more for you,
than just a stay in a hotel.
It gives you the opportunity to enjoy life without restrictions.
We would like to give you a little carefreeness with our holiday apartments.
Exploring the world and discovering new things without having to stop again
to face obstacles. Right on your doorstep there are beautiful, easily accessible hiking trails, fresh air, forest and... the feeling of freedom.
There are also many interesting and worth seeing excursion destinations in the area,
which are also accessible. Here, I have listed my favourite destinations for children and adults in wheelchair for you.
We look forward to seeing you. For an adventure, collect new impressions and recharge your batteries.
And that also applies to the people who support you so reliably.
We know how much responsibility and hard physical work every daycare and support entails.
